Sumit Dwa’s journey from darkness

Written by  Dr. Kamal Man Shrestha, [19,Janaury 2017, Thursday]

Sumit Dwa, address Dwa complex, Chipledhunga, Pokhara, Nepal.

Mr Sumit Dwa has been suffering from physical and mental ailments in his life for a good while. He has sought to find out the cause of his suffering, way out and treatment of it everywhere. But having become unable to get the right answers and treatment for him anywhere, the symptoms of being desperate were visible in his physical appearance and psychological state. From the way he talked, his lack of personal cleanliness and the stink from the cloths he wore gave off, some of the people who were present at that time in the class went so far as to make a guess that he must have been a street beggar. The impact on his social status was apparent. He had no desire left to be in contact with anyone and wanted to stay away from his friends as well. He said that his parents, grandparents and other members of family and relations used harsh words of disparagement against him instead of helping out but he was helpless. There was pain mixed with tears visible while he was speaking.

He said that he had seen many doctors and visited  some traditional healers like lamas and jhankris as well for medicine. Along with it, he had tried the internet to find out about his disease.

Some of the things he revealed about him were even more frightening. He said he waited desperately for the day he’d go mad or die and also if he had chance to commit suicide, he’d do it. Thoughts of colliding his scooter with bigger vehicles like buses and trucks coming from the opposite direction would often come into his mind to get himself killed.

A video has been presented here. This video was recorded a month after his first visit to our clinic. The fears and anxieties have become clearer by this time and he has come here today in spite of it being a off day because he has been compelled to see me to tell about what was going on in his mind and to ask if there was any way out of it. In this one month, he looks and sounds a little better able to speak, much cleaner and brighter than before.

But this is the cause of an unknown disease that has remained unknown about which this site and the book in it have tried to explain. If all our efforts succeed, he will also succeed in getting out of this mess.
